Description
Well, I finally got him done at the last minute ^_^; It took me all of a month to do this one. He's just your average bengal tiger who happens to like to hang out on my bed all day.
All of the fabric used is fake fur of some kind. The eyes are store bought plastic ones and the teeth and claws were made with bakeable clay. The claws are retractable!
and the mouth opens as well to a full set of teeth and a fuzzy tongue. His whiskers are made of white stretchy string (all attached one by one). He's got beans in his paws to help him sit and give him a more lifelike touch.Benji sits about 26 in. tall and is about 23 in. long not including the tail. He can actually lay down as well but I like him better sitting.
Everything was hand sewn (ouch..) I didn't use any patterns; rather I used a method I like to call "sew-as-you-go"...basically cut out pieces that look right as you go and sew them together.
A special thanks goes out to my boyfriend for helping me put this presentation together and for being so very patient while i worked long hours on this.
