Female Na'vi Plush

This plush has taken about one and a half months to complete. Every part of her is handmade in detail, as follows:

Body pattern of my own design, using blue flannel and blue "burnout" knit striped fabric
Each strand of yarn hair was individually rooted, and then every 3 strands braided, leaving a large braid in the center. A few wooden beads dangle from some of the braids.
Face was intricately pattern and needle sculpted to create the correct form, with a touch of fabric marker shading
Eyes were hand made and painted and set into sockets, with plastic eyelash embedded eyelids realistically shading them
Her hand cuff was made from faux suede, and given a simple stitched border
Her jewelry top was hand made by myself from glass beads
The finishing touch is the glow-in-the-dark paint dotted all over her body to recreate her "Bio-lume"


She stands at about 15 inches tall

And while I did design the pattern and create this plush, the original concept and likeness belong to James Cameron and his movie, Avatar.
