Tips for a successful commission experience with me:

1) Please provide multiple, accurate, CURRENT references of your character.

~While I do tend to allow revisions, I don't particularly like making them and will sometimes charge extra for them. To avoid this, please make sure that your references include lots of angles and details. Generally, I like to see a side view, front view, and back view. Close ups of any detailed jewelry, tattoos, markings, etc. is always a good idea too. If you change your design before I begin work, make sure you let me know and link me to an updated reference!

2) Realize that fabric colors are limited, and sometimes the exact color of your character cannot be replicated.

This is usually an issue with those "in-between" colors. Purpley-blue, Very dark grey (a shade above black), and very rich deep reds are just some examples that are difficult to find in fabric. I AM able to custom dye both natural and synthetic fabrics, however I will be charging extra for this service and results are still not guaranteed for an exact match.

3) Realize that while I am able to mimic many styles, I still inherently have my own natural style that will be present when I make your character.

I'd describe this style as detailed, semi-realistic. If you want something very simple, or very toony, I am probably not your best choice. If you do not like my natural style, I ask that you please search for another artist who more closely matches what you are looking for.

4) I will not take work-in-progress photos unless you specifically ask for them.

I don't typically like taking these photos because they interrupt my work flow, and many times a plushie won't look good, or won't even resemble anything, until it is nearly finished anyway. But if you do specifically ask and remind me, I will do my best to get you some while working.
